Generally speaking in the photography industry there is a line, on one side are those who delve into the artistic realm expressing their art with no other client but themselves and then on the other are those who shoot for clients with budgets and rigid output parameters. From the beginning of my career I have tried to bridge those two worlds, to bring an artistic view into the ultra teutonic realm of architectural photography. I strive to achieve this through layers of increasing complexity; layers of lighting composition and post production. Whether I achieve this balance is only for the viewer to say, but it has brought me commercial success as well as a bit of publicity, being interviewed and featured by PDN, Rangefinder, Shutterbug and several local magazines the full lot are on my website.. which is quite a bit of notoriety for a photographer in the rigid old industry of architectural photography!
